Homeopathic Remedies counseling from a mently and Psychotherapist is strongly recommended to enhance and speed up the healing process. Therapists attribute the cause of anxiety to unconscious, internal conflicts may use psychoanalysis to help people understand and resolve their conflicts. Other types of psychotherapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, have proven effective in treating anxiety disorders. In cognitive-behavioral therapy, the therapist often educates the person about the nature of his or her particular anxiety disorder. Then, the therapist may help the person challenge irrational thoughts that lead to anxiety. For example, to treat a person with a snake phobia, a therapist might gradually expose the person to snakes, beginning with pictures of snakes and progressing to rubber snakes and real snakes. The patient can use relaxation techniques acquired in therapy to overcome the fear of snakes.

Research has shown psychotherapy to be as effective or more effective than medications in treating many anxiety disorders. Psychotherapy may also provide more lasting benefits than medications when patients discontinue treatment.

Argentum nitricum: This remedy can be helpful when anxiety develops before a big event: an exam, an important interview, a public appearance or social engagement. Dizziness and diarrhea may also be experienced. People who need this remedy are often enthusiastic and suggestible, with a tendency toward peculiar thoughts and impulses. They often crave sweets and salt (which usually make their symptoms worse).

Arsenicum album: Asenicum Album patient who are deeply anxious about their health, and extremely concerned with order and security, often benefit from this remedy. Obsessive about small details and very neat, they may feel a desperate need to be in control of everything. Panic attacks often occur around midnight or the very early hours of the morning. The person may feel exhausted yet still be restless—fidgeting, pacing, and anxiously moving from place to place. These people may also have digestive problems or asthma attacks accompanied by anxiety.

Aconitum napellus: Acute panic attack of anxity neurosis comes on suddenly with very strong fear (even fear of death) may indicate this remedy. A state of immense anxiety may be accompanied by strong palpitations, shortness of breath, and flushing of the face. Sometimes a shaking experience will be the underlying cause. Strong feelings of anxiety may also occur when a person is just beginning to come down with a flu or cold.

Calcarea carbonica: Calcaria carb remedy remedy is usually indicated for dependable, solid people who become overwhelmed from physical illness or too much work and start to fear a breakdown. Their thoughts can be muddled and confused when tired, which adds to the anxiety. Worry and bad news may agitate them, and a nagging dread of disaster (to themselves or others) may develop. Fear of heights and claustrophobia are also common. A person who needs this remedy is often chilly and sluggish, has a craving for sweets, and is easily fatigued.

Gelsemium: Mentaly weak and Feelings of weakness, trembling, and mental dullness (being “paralyzed by fear”) suggest a need for this remedy. It is often helpful when a person has stage-fright about a public performance or interview, or feels anxious before a test, a visit to the dentist, or any stressful event. Chills, perspiration, diarrhea, and headaches will often occur with nervousness. Fear of crowds, a fear of falling, and even a fear that the heart might stop are other indications for Gelsemium.

Ignatia amara: Sudden make dath in near person perticular lady or A sensitive person who is anxious because of grief, loss, disappointment, criticism, loneliness (or any stressful emotional experience) may benefit from this remedy. A defensive attitude, frequent sighing, and mood swings are other indications. The person may burst unexpectedly into either tears or laughter. Headaches that feel like a nail driven into the side of the head, and cramping pains in the abdomen or back, are often seen when this remedy is needed.

Kali phosphoricum: exam fever student or When a person has been exhausted by overwork or illness and feels a deep anxiety and inability to cope, this remedy may help. The person is jumpy and oversensitive, and may be startled by ordinary sounds. Hearing unpleasant news or thinking of world events can aggravate the problems. Insomnia and an inability to concentrate may develop, increasing the sense of nervous dread. Eating, warmth, and rest often bring relief. Headaches, backaches, and nervous digestive upsets are often seen when this remedy is needed.
Lycopodium: Individuals likely to respond to this remedy feel anxiety from mental stress and suffer from a lack of confidence. They can be self-conscious and feel intimidated by people they perceive as powerful (yet may also swagger or be domineering toward those with whom they feel more comfortable). Taking on responsibility can cause a deep anxiety and fear of failure, although the person usually does well, once started on a task. Claustrophobia, irritability, digestive upsets with gas and bloating, and a craving for sweets are often seen when this remedy is needed.
Natrum muriaticum:Deep emotions and a self-protective shyness can make these people seem reserved, aloof, and private. Even when feeling lonely, they tend to stay away from social situations, not knowing what to say or do. (Inhibitions sometimes leave completely if they turn to alcohol, which makes them feel embarrassed afterwards.) Easily hurt and offended, they can brood, bear grudges, dwell on unhappy feelings, and isolate themselves—refusing consolation even when they want it. However, they are often sympathetic listeners to other people’s problems. Claustrophobia, anxiety at night (with fears of robbers or intruders), migraines, and insomnia are often seen when this remedy is needed.

Pulsatilla: People who need this remedy often express anxiety as insecurity and clinginess, with a need for constant support and comforting. The person may be moody, tearful, whiny, even emotionally childish. (Pulsatilla is a very useful remedy for children.) Getting too warm or being in a stuffy room often increases anxiety. Fresh air and gentle exercise often bring relief. Anxiety around the time of hormonal changes (puberty, menstrual periods, or menopause) often is helped with Pulsatilla.

Silicea : People who need this remedy are capable and serious, yet are also nervous, shy, and subject to bouts of temporary loss of confidence. Anxiety can be extreme when they are faced with a public appearance, interview, examination, or any new job or task. Worry and overwork can bring on headaches, difficulty concentrating, and states of exhaustion, oversensitivity, and dread. Responsible and diligent, they often overreact and devote attention to tiny details—making their worries (and their work) more difficult. They often have low stamina and come down with colds, sore throats, or other illnesses after working hard or being under stress.

Many doctors feel that for a woman who has Endometriosis, the best chances of pregnancy occur during the six to nine months period following treatment with a laparoscopy procedure. There are many women with Endometriosis who do succeed in having children. For some of these women these pregnancies may have taken place without treatment for Endometriosis; their pregnancies would have happened anyway. There is no way of knowing. For other women, they have successfully conceived after some form of medical treatment.

Other women are achieving pregnancy without any conventional medical intervention for Endometriosis, and are simply taking care of their own health though alternative treatments. This may include changes in diet or getting treatment from an Alternative Health practitioner. Success with pregnancy has been achieved by using Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Herbalism, to name a few , as well as following self-help programs including vitamins and supplements and diet changes.

For some women, their pregnancy success has come about by combining conventional treatment for Endometriosis along with Complimentary therapies.

To address the problems with infertility and Endometriosis and achieve successful pregnancy may require a combination of treatments. This means correcting hormone imbalances that have been directly caused by Endometriosis; then to repair the structure of the reproductive organs.

This is probably best achieved by:

natural therapies to rebalance hormones, boost the immune system and diminish active Endometriosis

changing the diet to achieve optimum health

possibly followed with surgery to correct damage to the structure of the reproductive organs

Natural and Alternative therapies can work wonders to restore health and bring the body back into balance, but surgery may be required to repair damaged tissue and organs caused by Endometriosis, to restore them close to their original function.

IVF and endometriosis :

In vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures are effective in improving fertility for some women with endometriosis. IVF makes it possible to combine sperm and eggs in a laboratory and then place the resulting embryos into the woman’s uterus. IVF is one type of assisted reproductive technology that may be an option for women and families affected by infertility related to endometriosis.

In the early stages of IVF, a woman takes hormones to cause :

“superovulation,” which triggers her body to produce many eggs at one time. Once mature, the eggs are collected from the woman, using a probe inserted into the vagina and guided by ultrasound. The collected eggs are placed in a dish for fertilization with a man’s sperm. The fertilized cells are then placed in an incubator, a machine that keeps them warm and allows them to develop into embryos. After three-to-five days, the embryos are transferred to the woman’s uterus. It takes about two weeks to know if the process is successful.

Even though the use of hormones in IVF is successful in treating infertility related to endometriosis, other forms of hormone therapy are not as successful. For instance, hormone therapy that prevents a woman from getting her period, or from ovulating each month, does not seem to improve infertility related to endometriosis.

A fissure literally means a cleft crack. Medically, fissure refers to linear crack in the skin. Skin cracks can arise anywhere in the body. But the cracks are most commonly seen in edges or at the junction of two different types of skins

Causes -

The major causes are supposed to be,

Physical strain -Pressure exerted while passing stool

Defecation – Anal fissure is most commonly caused by constipation. The hard, dry stool tears the anus when it stretches the anus forcibly while defecating. It can also be caused by diarrhoea due to sudden purge or straining after enema.

Foods – Low fibre diet, more spices, alcohol and lesser intake of water can produce hard dry stool, which needs more strain in defecation

Weakened anus sphincter muscles – due to any diseases

Dry skin disorders which affect lower part of anus

Small tight anus – congenitally small or spastic tight anus

Symptoms :

Cruel pain is the major symptom of fissure – Pain may be burning, stabbing, pricking and a feeling of glass pieces or thorns in the anus. Pain is usually aggravated after defecation. The patients used to suffer with pain for more than half-an-hour after passing stool or for the remaining whole day.

Bleeding usually occurs at the time of defecation which appears as a streak in the stool. Usually it will be fresh and is supposed to come in drops after defecation but never passes mixed with the faeces.

Tightness or spasms of the anus usually interrupt in passing the stool

The fissure is always visible / felt as a swollen traingular (thickened) area with the skin tag in its lower end

With the fear of pain, patients usually avoid the act of defecation and develop constipation from there which further worsens the condition

Diagnosis – of fissures is easy, since a simple examination with slight stretch of anus can identify the fissure. Digital examination will be very painful in all the case of fissures due to spasm and tightness of anal sphincters, so it is avoided mostly.

Management – Many fissures can be healed with simple management as follows.

Take plenty of water and fruit juices

Avoid non-veg and fatty diet

Take easily digestible, simple food with plenty of vegetables

Use Indian style toilets since squatting position will be a better position for pain and natural defecation.

Follow hygienic measures in cleaning and caring

Pass stool twice a day to avoid dry hard stool and strain to rectum and anus

* Never suppress an urge. Go for stool whenever there is a call since it will be easy then

Sitz bath – Before passing stool, sit in a shallow bath tub of warm salt water for 10 – 15 minutes to relax the anal sphincter and to relieve the anal spasm. This technique usually pacifies all the painful anal conditions

Do and Don’t:

Sporting activities, long-distance walking / travelling / cycling during healing process

Any friction or injury

Dry cleaning by toilet papers. Go for wash with warm water which usually soothes

Scratching, since it may become red, sore and infected.

Non-veg, fast foods, oily foods, etc.

Spices and chillies

Smoking, drinking alcohol and coffee

Prevention – It is well said that prevention is better than cure. Always follow these procedures to avoid anal sufferings

Take plenty of water for easy defecation and to avoid constipation.

Follow regular bowel habits

Take hygeinic measure to keep anus clean and dry

Treat constipation or diarrhoea immediately

Surgery – Mostly anal fissure heals without surgery, if it is cared for in its initial days itself. But if it becomes chronic and persistent, then, as a last resort, surgery can be opted.

Homeopathy approach : can do wonders when one opts for the treatment in case of fissure. Also, surgery cannot cure all cases of fissure. Even after surgery it can recur if the root cause is not cured. So, Homeopathy treatment is the best way to root out the disease and cure fissure in ano without any side-effects.

Homeopathic medicines : commonly used in case of fissure are -Acid Nit, Bryonia, Calc Flour,

Early stage renal failure is a final common path way for a number of disease processes and associated with significant morbidity and mortality. In modern medicine approach kidney treatment like dialysis and kidney transplant is not rational approach but its temporary phase, not complete cure end stage renal failure or CRF (Chronic renal failure is the progressive loss of kidney function. The kidneys attempt to compensate for renal damage by excessive straining of the blood within the remaining functional filtering units that consist of a glomerulus and corresponding tubule over time, hyper filtration causes further loss of function)

In homeopathy medicine developed immunizations in damage nephrons in kidney, so kidney function is not damaged further and become strong, after homeopathy treatment decreased s.creatinin and BUN level day by day.

End stage of renal failure due to diabetes mellitus or Hypertension patient his S.creatinin level should 6 to 7. In this stage we can cure or re-establish kidney or renal functions. Patient under going heamodialysis and after kidney transplantation, homeopathy medicine work very well.

Patient had no blood pressure and no diabetes then his S.creatinie level is more then 6 in early stage homeopathy medicine reestablished Kidney functions very well.

There are not curative procedures for CRF but instead they keep a person alive by performing the crucial functions of the kidneys. Homeopathy stimulates one’s immune system to perform normal functions in this way so that damaged kidneys start functioning normally.

TYPE OF RENAL FAILURE:

Pre renal

Decreased blood flow is one cause of damage to the kidney. Acute renal failure may occur when there is extremely low blood pressure; the patient may suffer from trauma, septic shock, haemorrhage, severe vomiting, diarrhea, burns and associated dehydration or other severe or complicated illness.

Intra renal

Renal failure usually occurs as the internal structures of the kidney and is suddenly or slowly destroyed. It is a complex chronic failure commonly noticed with hypertension and diabetes damage the vascular walls. Smoking causes atherosclerotic changes of the arterial walls. Nephrotoxic drugs and metals.
Post renal

A simple mechanical or functional obstruction to the free flow of urine precludes, its excretion and renal failure occurs. It commonly happens with kidney stones, urethral stricture and prost. The symptoms are sudden in acute renal failure and gradual in chronic.

Sine and Symptoms:

Increased Blood pressure, Weight Loose, Proteins pass in urine, General weakness, swellsround the eyes, Persistentfatigueandshortness ofbreath. Lossofappetiteandweightloss. Pale, dry and itchy skin. Muscular cramps and twitching. Headache, nausea, vomit andhiccups.

HOMEOPATHY TREATMENT BENEFIT FOR KIDNEY PATIENTS:

1. Early stage renal failure due to Diabetes and Hypertension patients who are

suffering from Kidney disease they must take homeopathic treatment.

2. Healthy persons who have strong family history of renal failure should take classical homeopathic treatment to avoid the risk of renal failure.

3. Persons who are having symptoms of early renal failure of unknown etiology, then homeopathy medicine work very well.

4. Kidney patients of any stage should start homeopathic treatment earliest possible for avoiding passing into the complete renal.

5. Patients who are waiting for renal transplantation should start homeopathic treatment which can stop the urgent need of kidney donor.

6. Patients who are on dialysis can get rid of the frequent dialysis by taking classical homeopathic treatment.

Let us say it is never too late to start homeopathic treatment; all patients should start it as soon as they come to know about benefits of homeopathy.

ALLOPATHIC V/S HOMEOPATHIC TREATMENT:

1) In comparison to life long treatment in Allopath or conversional therapy. Homeopathic medicines can be stopped in 2 to 5 years depending on the severity and underlying causes of the disease.

2) Allopathic cannot repair damaged Kidney. Modern medicines try to facilitate the body’s waste products to pass out by the process of dialysis through artificial means or by a kidney , transplanted from a Donor .Though Homeopathy does not provide any substitute for any organ (Kidney) but it can revive the damaged organ as it has been proven many times in my treatment of TB cases where I always found normal tissue in place of fibrocavitory lesions

3) Allopathic process of dialysis cannot be stopped once a patient starts on it. As the time passes this procedure has to be done more frequently. Patient’s kidney starts improving as soon as he starts taking homeopathic treatment. It helps the patient to withdraw from dialysis.

4) In modern medicine there is no curative procedure for CRF in. Kidney transplantation and Dialysis do not cure renal failure, but instead keep a person alive by performing the crucial functions of the kidneys. But homeopathy stimulates one’s immune system to perform normal functions, in this way damaged kidneys start functioning normally.

5) There is very high percentage of rejection of new kidney received from a Donor but if such patient starts taking homeopathic treatment that would minimize the rejection percentage.

6) Allopathic treatment Patient has to spend Rs.10000 to 20000/- per month exclusively on medicines. Expenses of hospital’s fee and investigations are superfluous. Homeopathic treatment cost depends upon the severity of the disease and knowledge and experience of the doctor even the costliest doctor’s treatment remains quite economical as compared to allopathic expenses.

7) In case of patients who receive transplanted Kidneys diseases associated with Kidneys like Diabetes mellitus and Hypertension may become uncontrolled in spite of taking full medical care. But Classical Homeopathic treatment not only repairs the damaged kidneys but also it helps in maintaining the blood sugar level and blood pressure to a normal level.

END STAGE RENAL FAILURE AND HOMEOPATHY MANAGEMENT.
The state of patient with end stage renal failure or progressive reversible chronic renal disease is very pathetic not only for the patient itself but also for the family and society as a whole.

In homeopathic treatment case individualization, modality & mental symptoms are the necessary part to select find out exact similimum homeopathic medicine. Homoeopathy does wonder here and has prevented a large number of cases progressing to Hemodialysis and Renal Transplant.

THE ROLE OF HOMEOPATHY IN CHRONIC RENAL FAILURE

Homoeopathy has already done a significant service to the society here as hemodialysis and renal transplant are not within easy reach of majority of population in under- developed countries. In developing country hemodialysis and kidney transplant are very costly treatment service for CRF patients that everybody can’t afford it while homeopathy is cheaper & easy treatment.

•1. Homeopathic treatment in CRF patients’ medical history:

•2. Patients with end-stage chronic renal failure pending Hemodialysis & Renal Transplant:

•3. Homeopathic treatment under long-term hemodialysis pending renal transplant

•4. Homeopathic treatment in dialysis complications

•5. Homeopathic treatment for Post Renal Transplant Patients:

1. Homeopathic treatment in CRF patients’ medical history:

Homeopathy medical science is a great for renal failure patient but unfortunately we are not received number of cases.

Patients mostly complaining of nausea, anorexia and progressive weakness. The laboratory renal parameters are disturbed. The evolution of individualized, totality, modality, mentality, past and family history require lots of patience and labor but the results are marvelous.

2. Patients with end-stage chronic renal failure pending Hemodialysis & Renal Transplant:

This is the group of cases with maximum presentations in the clinics. Majority of these cases come to homoeopathic rescue as a last resort as they can’t afford long-term dialysis and transplant.
The other small group of patients want to know the benefits of Homoeopathic treatment over dialysis and if Homoeopathic treatment be carried along with Hemodialysis? The clinical judgment is individualized and varies for every patient. Remember the correlation of uremic symptoms with renal functions varies front patient to patient.

3. Homeopathic treatment under long-term hemodialysis pending renal transplant:

Homeopathy has a great role to play here. Research experiments in various hospitals reveals the following facts :
(a) Indicated homoeopathic remedies reduced the number of dialysis needed over a period of time.
(b) Indicated homoeopathic remedies reduce and overcome the complications associated with chronic dialysis therapy.
4.Homeopathic treatment in dialysis complications

Remember a chronic dialysis patient depends on a machine for his life. These patients develop a variety of psychiatric, neurologic and somatic disorders. A neurologic disorder ‘Dialysis dementia’ is a characteristic example.
In the mental sphere, these patients become very depressive, their reduced physical abilities make them sad and depressive
they become very irritable like
they know that they have to depend on others, they tolerate and do not express the frustration like
In the physical sphere infections, thrombosis and aneurysm formation occur in the Arterio-venous fistula. There is a high incidence of septic embolisation in these cases. The homoeopathic remedies Arnica chelendula Q have immensely helped these cases

Heparin necessary during the hemodialysis procedures to prevent clotting leads to complications such as subdural hematoma and intracerebral hemorrhage. Arnica and different well-proved snake poisons in our Materia Medica are of great help here. .

5. Homeopathic treatment for Post Renal Transplant Patients:
The group of patients coming for homoeopathic advice after Renal Transplant is very limited. Homeopaths have very little experience with these patients and the results are not very encouraging. Most of the symptoms here are marked and distorted by immune-suppressive therapy. Immune-suppressive therapy suppresses all immune responses and hence Homoeopathic treatment has not much role to play in organ rejection of transplant cases.

The treatment of Kidney disease can be quite successful with Homeopathy, often in conjunction with allopathic medicine in advanced cases. In early stages, particularly with chronic renal disease, nephritic syndrome, stone formations in Kidney, Bladder, UTI infections, the success rate is close to 40% to 70 % with compliance by the patient.
